'Albi' قلبي means “my heart” in Arabic. Albi Garden was created out of a deep heartfelt wish to reconnect people with nature, embodiment, and community — and to channel that reconnection into collective human flourishing. By embracing the miracle of my own body and reclaiming my agency to follow its desires and needs, I learned how to feel pleasure from simply existing. When you join this community, my intention for you is to reconnect to this “inner bliss” — the simple pleasure of being alive. Learn how below.
We are a culture obsessed with wanting. We want the body. We want the money. We want the status, the validation, the next hit of something that will finally make us feel full. We spend enormous energy chasing pleasure — and an equally enormous amount of energy feeling ashamed of the chase.
What if neither the craving nor the shame is the real story? What if both are just symptoms of a much simpler hunger — the hunger to feel alive?
The deepest pleasure is not sexual. It is not financial. It is presence — the clean, animal aliveness of being here, in a body, on this earth, breathing air that has moved through leaves. When the body is physically well — nourished by clean food, held by clean air and water, quieted by proximity to living things — something settles. And in that settling, a simple joy surfaces that was always there.
The practices I teach work with the body's own energy — including what we call desire, craving, wanting. Not to suppress it. Not to indulge it. But to channel it: to feel its aliveness fully, and to redirect that force toward what actually nourishes us. Toward creativity. Toward community. Toward the earth.
Every class, every workshop, every membership feeds something real. The long-term vision of Albi Garden is to build living, breathing community garden spaces where people can gather, grow food, and experience firsthand the simple pleasure of being connected to the earth, their bodies, and one another.
Virtual classes, workshops, and membership-based content on somatic movement, sensual dance, qigong, and ecological awareness. Building the community that will build the gardens.
Pop-up events and in-person workshops in Miami, North Carolina, and Hawaii. Collaborative garden days, embodiment ceremonies, and community meals.
Permanent community garden spaces funded by program revenue and partnerships. Physical spaces held in common, grown by community, nourished by the collective energy of everyone who moved, studied, and chose to show up.
Donations go directly toward land, seeds, tools, and the people who tend them. Every contribution — at any level — is part of building something that will outlast all of us.
